As part of an expanding range of itineraries AAH is pleased to announce a 4 day Central Australian holiday operating direct from Brisbane.

EASTER ITINERARY – ex BRISBANE

Day 1 (B,D) – From Brisbane fly by Fokker 50 to Charleville, visit the Cosmos Centre, lunch at the historic Hotel Corones, fly to Alice Springs, 2 nights at Heavitree Gap Outback Lodge, at the base of the spectacular MacDonnell Ranges (or similar).

Day 2 (B,L,D) – Short town tour, Anzac Hill, Old Telegraph Station, Flynn Memorial, Simpson Gap and Stanley Chasm, luncheon visit to Mbabtua Aboriginal Art Gallery and Cultural Museum, work of many famous artists on display, private luncheon here. Vist Alice Springs Desert Park, or explore Todd Mall and shops, private Bushmen’s Dinner this evening.

Day 3 (B,L,D) – A day of highlights! Fly “low and slow” over MacDonnell Ranges, Kings Canyon, Uluru (Ayers Rock) and Kata Tjuta (Olgas) prior to landing at Uluru. Lunch, ground tour of Uluru and Kata Tjuta, or visit the Cultural Centre. Our home tonight, Sails in the Desert Hotel, Uluru’s 5 star hotel. Enjoy the famous “Sounds of Silence” dinner experience under the sparkling outback sky, Uluru in front of you and KataTjuta behind. Possibly the most stunning sunset you will ever witness!

Day 4 (B,L) – Sunrise viewing of Uluru (not compulsory!). Mid morning departure, fly over Mt Connor on route to Birdsville, lunch at the iconic Birdsville Hotel, returning to Brisbane around 6:30 p.m. concluding a long remembered Easter holiday.
